On 7 February 2017, in the occasion of the European 112 Day (11 February), EENA held a workshop on the status of the common European emergency number 112 in the  proposal for a European Electronic Communications Code (or EECC). The aim was to discuss the provisions linked to access to emergency services in the latest European Commission's telecommunications proposal.

This event was dedicated to decision-makers and stakeholders in the telecommunications, public safety and civil protection fields.

The event welcomed 60 participants. Thank you to all attendees for contributing to improving the 112 service in the framework of the EECC.
