FROM AIRPORT TO HOTEL

The Clarion Congress Hotel Prague is situated 24 km east from The Václav Havel International Airport Prague.

The Václav Havel Airport Prague handles flights of most European carriers and also some overseas flights.

There is a good connection between the airport and city centre by public transport and taxis. Unfortunately there is no subway or train connection to the city from the airport. You should buy a ticket before travelling and these can be found at the arrival hall, at ticket machines or at the newsagents (if arriving late and all shops are closed buy a ticket from the driver but large banknotes are not accepted).

  • By bus

You can take 119 bus line from Terminal 1 to Nádraží Veleslavín, from there take the metro (green A line) and get off at the station Mùstek, then take the yellow B line and get off at the station Vysočanská, which is at 1 minute distance walking from the Clarion Congress Hotel. The total journey takes about 55 min. You can either buy a 90-minute regular ticket at 32 CZK (~1,184€) or a 1-day pass: 110 CZK (~4,8€) to be re-used during the whole day.

  • By taxi

Ater being tested several times by EENA staff, we recommend you to book online before your departure a private taxi through Prague Airport transfers for your journey from/to the Prague airport. Cost/transfer: 20,8 EUR.

Registered taxis are available from a stand located in front of the Arrivals hall.

The regular fare to the hotel is around 35 EUR. The trip lasts about 30–45 min.

From the main railway station (Hlavní nádraží) to hotel

 

Take the metro line C to Florenc, from there take to metro line B and get off at the station Vysočanská. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

If you take a taxi, the regular fare to the hotel is around 10 EUR and the trip lasts about 15 minutes.

 

MOBILITY IN TOWN

  • Metro

The metro runs from 5am till midnight and it is the most comfortable way to travel in Prague. There are three metro lines in the city.

Clarion Congress Hotel is located just next to the metro station Vysočanská (yellow B line), only 10 minutes from the city centre (Wenceslas Square). Take the metro from station Náměstí Republiky or Můstek (direction Cerny Most). In case you travel from other places and need to change the lines, you have to do it at Florenc (red C line) or Můstek (green A line).

The same type of ticket can be used for metro, trams and buses. Tram/bus tickets can be bought in the automatic machines or in any tobacco store. Now you can also buy tickets through the application SEJF Mobile Pocket.

Short-term ticket – 30 minutes: 24 CZK (~0,88€)
24-hour ticket: 110 CZK (~4,8€)
72-hour ticket: 310 CZK (~13,52€)

  • Trams

There are 3 trams going to the hotel. You may use tram 12, 16, 54 and 55, the nearest stop to the hotel is Nádraží Vysočany.

  • Busses
A bus stop is also located just in front of the hotel, the buses come from the city centre, as well as from the suburbs. The bus numbers are 136, 151, 158, 177, 183, 195 and 375.
