Visa and Invitation Letters
Letters of invitation to attend the EENA Conference 2017 in Budapest can be requested on demand to EENA by sending an email to email@example.com.
Invitation letters for Visa purposes can only be sent to participants who have registered online.
Visa applications are not the responsibility of EENA. EENA cannot contact or intervene with any Hungarian Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf so please ensure that you submit your application to the appropriate embassy/consulate in due time. Visa applications may take 5 weeks.
Letters of Invitation will be emailed as a PDF document. Print copies will be mailed upon conference attendee's request by regular post only.
Kindly note that issuing invitation letters do not commit EENA to any financial obligation. No exceptions to this policy will be made.
Required information for EENA to issue your invitation letter for visa purposes:
- Your full name
- Name of your organisation
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Country of citizenship (country which issued your passport)
- Passport number
- Expiry date of your passport
Hungary is a member of the Schengen Area, and applies the Schengen legislation in full. The entry formalities for Hungary vary according to the country of origin.
All visitors entering Hungary must possess a valid passport or a valid picture ID in some cases.
Citizens of the EU/EEA member states and of the following countries may travel to Hungary without a visa: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Salvador, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, USA, Uruguay, Venezuela.
Entry visa can be obtained at any Hungarian embassy, consulate, and in some cases at border crossing points.
