The European Association Awards recognise individuals, teams and initiatives and highlight excellence in how associations operate. As the organisers mention:
“The shortlist represents the elite of European Associations who are striving ahead and setting standards for and on behalf of their members. These awards are for those making a real impact, and we will celebrate their achievements together at the ceremony on 23rd February.”
We are honoured for this recognition. The shortlisted organisation is EENA, but these nominations are for everyone in the EENA community that contributes to the success of this work so thank you!

In October 2017, one hashtag united everyone in Europe in asking for change in emergency response: European rescuers, top level officials, politicians, political groups, citizens, victims associations and more asked for EU legislation to help #makeEUsafe!
