Public Safety Answering Points have limited call-handling capacity, which can be easily overloaded by an attacker. Recent attacks and academic analysis have demonstrated that the scale of a debilitating attack is well within the capabilities of even relatively unsophisticated attackers.
This joint webinar, produced by the NENA and EENA, explored the attack surfaces, vectors, and vulnerabilities exploited by malicious actors to slow or block access to emergency services, and detailed current and future best practices for attack mitigation.
Attendees who joined the webinar heard from NENA's Trey Forgety as well as from our very own Iratxe Gomez Susaeta.
The webinar was exlusively for EENA / NENA members.
