The leading role that the Department of Emergency Situations plays, forces us to identify all the needed measures for a continuous development of the emergency system and also a good training for citizens against the disasters. Given the unpredictable daily risks we face, our duty is to increase Romania’s level of resilience, so we can cope with any situation. Our main mission is to permanently upgrade the 112 Service using or making new projects made to train the future dispatchers and to help them with performant equipment for immediate response in case of emergency. To succeed we have to be motivated, patient and professional. Just by being close to the people and constantly trying to improve the system, we proved that we have the capacity and capability needed to organise large-scale international events, designed to support the performance of the Department of Emergency Situations.
