On the occasion of the European 112 Day 2014, the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) is inviting media representatives to attend a press conference providing an overview of the current situation of the 112 system in Europe. The press conference will focus on highlights of several national emergency services functioning, caller location developments and ways to improve the awareness levels of 112 in the EU.
On the 112 Day, observed every year on 11 February since 2009 all over Europe, Member States organise communication activities to promote the European Emergency number 112.
