EENA is happy to announce the launch of the EENA Mobile Network Operators Group (or MNOs Group), a new type of EENA membership, with a strongly technical focus. The aim of the MNOs Group is to bridge communication between European MNOs on emergency calling issues, understand the needs and challenges they face and contribute to solving issues together. The group already gathers 11 members (10 MNOs from 8 European countries and 1 MNO at the European level).

The first ever webinar dedicated to MNOs took place on 16 February on the topic of Advanced Mobile Location (or AML), a caller location technique implemented in the UK and currently explored in many European countries as a solution to problematic caller location in an emergency. The webinar was attended by 16 MNOs from 11 countries.
