From 26 October to 6 November, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) will organise the Next Generation eCall Plugtests event 2020. EENA is a supporting organisation of this two-week event, alongside the European Commission and the sAFE 112 EU project.
What is it all about? The event will allow vendors to run interoperability test sessions of Next Generation eCall (NG eCall), involving stakeholders along the chain that makes NG eCall possible. This allows for harmonisation of the service, leading to more successful and effective deployment and operation.
Who can join? In Vehicle System and Public Safety Answering Points technology vendors are invited to attend. The event is free and will take place remotely.
