How data management is revolutionising emergency response

One of the featured topics in public safety to be explored at the EENA Conference 2021 (6-8 October, Riga).

There is no longer a field of society that doesn’t handle data. Data is everywhere and nowadays it’s a crucial way to empower our work, especially for emergency services.
In a sector where time and speed of response are essential to save lives, it is key to receive as much information as possible.
Data analytics can help improve situational awareness, geospatial data can help emergency services calculate faster routes and integrated and exchanged data can better communication between different emergency services. These are just a few examples of the benefit of data for emergency services. While it’s essential for emergency services to receive more data, considerations about ethics and privacy regulations should be taken into account.

But how can emergency services manage the increasing volume and complexity of data?
How can data be accessible to help save lives in a secure way and be respectful of privacy?

At #EENA2021, we will look at how to harness the power of data for the public safety sector and explore the burgeoning adoption of technologies like IoT, AI and NG112. We have different sessions on this topic and for all interests.Check out below some session highlights… and these are just a few of the sessions that will cover this topic!
