6 April 2016, Prague – The 112 Awards Ceremony 2016 rewarded today individuals and organisations from Europe for their commitment in promoting people’s safety.

The Ceremony took place in Prague, Czech Republic, where more than 500 attendees (representing emergency services, public authorities, European and international organisations, and public safety solution providers) gathered to honour the winners and celebrate with them their hard work and achievements.

“It has been a difficult year for Europe and the world, which makes it even more important to take a step back and think of the people working hard to keep us safe. I want to congratulate all winners but also nominees for their tireless work. They are setting an example for all of us to follow, and for that we owe them a thank you” said Gary Machado, EENA Executive Director.
