IN A NUTSHELL
Approximately 100 EENA Members gathered in Brussels to debate all emergency response essentials and define concrete ways to help #makeEUsafe.

12 EMERGENCY RESPONSE WORKSHOPS
16-17 October
EENA Members worked in small groups to debate key-topics of emergency response and come up with recommendations on how to progress for the safety of citizens.

EMERGENCY SERVICES MEET DECISION-MAKERS
18 October
EENA Members visited the European Parliament, where they met with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from their home country. The aim was to discuss how to work together to ensure advancements for people’s safety.

EUROPEAN MARCH FOR TERRORISM VICTIMS & FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES
18 October
Emergency services from all the EU together with victims & survivors, marched united to pay tribute to the lives lost and to show solidarity with the work of emergency rescuers. They were joined by top-level officials from the EU and Member States, Members of the European Parliament and citizens. Attendees held a minute of silence before laying a flower in honour of everyone affected by terrorism, in a moving ceremony in the heart of Brussels.
