Marta joined the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) in January 2018. As Media and Communications Manager, she is responsible for developing strong relationships with the press and relaying information about EENA’s activities via all communications methods. Marta holds an MA in Communications Sciences, specialised in Media and Journalism with a semester abroad in Rome, and a BA in Cultural and Social Communication with a semester held in Lille, France.
Born on a small Portuguese island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Marta is not a nomad but a citizen of the world. She studied and/or worked in Portugal, France, Vietnam, Italy, Malta, and Brussels. She is Portuguese and also speaks English, French, Italian, occasionally improvising in Portuñol.
