Third-Party Service Providers play an increasingly important role in ensuring that emergency communications reach PSAPs, especially in situations where individuals are unable to call for help themselves, such as from monitored alarm systems, vehicles or care services.
To support this mission, EENA has developed a dedicated Quality Standard aimed at improving the delivery of emergency communications by TPSPs. The programme offers a broader framework for evaluating service quality, operational reliability and alignment with public safety needs.
TPSPs can benchmark their performance against a Standard tailored to the emergency context. The certification recognises those providers who demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable services in partnership with emergency authorities.
EENA encourages all TPSPs to take the first step by requesting a free copy of the Standard and to consider pursuing certification as a way to strengthen trust and accountability in the emergency communications chain.
