Tuesday 22 October at 16:30 CEST – Introducing Google’s new Loss of Pulse Detection feature

Google announced their new Loss of Pulse Detection feature in August. It is a first-of-its-kind feature that detects a loss of pulse event, a time-sensitive health emergency. If a loss of pulse is detected, the feature prompts a user’s compatible phone or watch to call emergency services for intervention. The CE-marked feature will only be available in select EU countries at this time.

In this webinar, Google will cover the following key points, including the opportunity for Q&A:

      • How it works: An overview of the functionality of the feature.

      • Responsible development: Insights into the steps taken to design the algorithm and user experience responsibly to minimise accidental triggers.

      • User-centred design: How user feedback and needs have informed the design process and how the user-friendly experience allows users to cancel a call if help is not needed.

This webinar is sponsored by Google.
