From today, Advanced Mobile Location is active in the smartphone operation systems developed by Android and Apple (IOS) through the three mobile services providers in Hungary: Hungarian Telecom, Telenor and Vodafone.
With this deployment, Hungary joins the list of countries that have already implemented this life-saving technology.
This accomplishment is thanks to the NISZ National Infocommunications Service Company (NISZ Ltd.) responsible for the operation of the Single European Emergency System in the country.
Hungary was one of countries that participated in the HELP112 II project, initiated by the European Commission and supported by EENA, to extend the deployment of accurate caller location in 7 countries.
