The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) is pleased to announce that Integrierte Leitstelle Mannheim has been awarded the EENA PSAP Certification at level 2: Accredited. The Certification was awarded at the EENA 2026 Conference & Exhibition in Riga, Latvia.
Following an extensive audit programme, this certification recognises the PSAP’s commitment to providing a high-quality emergency call handling service and its implementation of advanced operational processes. The certification is awarded for a period of two years and is assessed annually during this time.
“We are proud to have been awarded the EENA PSAP Certification at Accredited level,” said Christoph Scherer, Head of PSAP, Integrierte Leitstelle Mannheim. “This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering reliable support to people in emergency situations.”
EENA has developed a unique standard to improve the provision of emergency call handling services across the world. The programme allows Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to benchmark themselves against a Standard specific to their mission and rewards those committed to delivering high-quality services.
