Senior researcher, Department of Epidemiology Lazio Regional Health Service in Rome

With a background in biometeorology and a Phd in Epidemiology, Francesca works in environmental epidemiology studying the health effects of extreme temperatures and climate change on health outcomes with a focus on exposure modelling and the identification of vulnerable groups. She manages the Italian heat health warning systems and prevention plan and on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Health and for the Lazio Regional health Service.
