Enhancing Emergency Communications Routing and Location Transmission Reliability with SIP PIDF-LO – Tuesday 10 September at 14:00 CEST (90 minutes)
As the transition from circuit-switched to packet-switched networks, services, and PSAPs gathers pace, this webinar will focus on SIP PIDF-LO and its benefits for improving the routing of emergency communications and enhancing the reliability of caller location information transmission. The challenges and opportunities of implementation and operation of SIP PIDF-LO will also be discussed.
Key Topics Covered:
• Understanding SIP PIDF-LO: Introduction and benefits for emergency communication.
• Plans and implementation experiences from several countries.
• Expert insights for multiple stakeholders.
The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session where all stakeholders will have an opportunity to contribute. The importance of collaboration across the emergency communications supply chain – device manufacturers, network/service providers, network equipment vendors, PSAPs, and PSAP solution providers – will be highlighted with the goal of ensuring seamless integration of SIP PIDF-LO across Europe.
