The AI-PREMSET-MCX project is a subconsortium of the EU funded project TrialsNet (https://trialsnet.eu), bringing together the expertise and experience of Nemergent Solutions and EENA.

The AI-PREMSET-MCX project aims to enhance emergency response by optimising Mission Critical Services (MCX) over 5G networks using AI/ML techniques. The expected results are improved placement and configuration of MCX servers, real-time adaptation to changing conditions, and effective emergency handling, leading to better coordination, resource allocation, and public safety during critical events.

To achieve this, various data sources will be thoroughly monitored to create detailed mobility traces and develop robust AI/ML algorithms to be applied on a diverse range of emergency contexts, ensuring real-world validation of the models.

The project will test, evaluate and validate these outcomes through field trials in Iasi, Romania, demonstrating the performance of the algorithms in various emergency scenarios.

The project began in May 2024 and will finish in 2025.
