Advanced Mobile Location (AML) has proven hugely successful in providing PSAP call takers with very accurate location information from emergency calls originating on smartphones. This has led to faster response times from emergency responders thereby reducing the severity of injuries and saving lives. AML is now deployed in more than 26 countries around the world.
By identifying errors, analysing root causes and implementing fixes, AML can be improved and thus reduce risks of losing important location information. To help public authorities, PSAPs and Mobile Network Operators doing so, EENA invited representatives from Google and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to discuss with participants best practices in identifying and resolving AML errors when using Android Emergency Location Service (ELS).
Who was this webinar for?
The target audience is/are representatives of Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), telecom regulators and ministries/public safety representatives from the countries who are already making use of AML or are implementing it.
