Embracing innovation in today’s emergency communications
We are excited to welcome you next week to our NG112 virtual event: From theory to reality, to be held from Tuesday, 27 April to Thursday, 29 April (every afternoon from 2.30PM until 4.30PM CEST).
Our aim? To foster the deployment of Next Generation 112 – to both modernise how all citizens can reach help in case of an emergency and to interconnect emergency services.
Next Generation communications, NG112, NG911… You hear it everywhere in public safety: the future is now! But still, you find it hard to understand all the features of Next Generation technology, and you don’t feel fully at ease with some of the steps to follow towards its implementation in your country? Our NG112 event is for you! Check out the programme and register now to avoid being left behind!
“Next Generation 112 benefits citizens and emergency services alike“, states Freddie McBride, EENA’s Director of Digital Communications Policy and Regulation.“NG112/911 has already proven its worth in transforming emergency response on both sides of the Atlantic, improving accessibility to emergency services by supporting different types of communications (voice, location information, real-time text, photos, video and other data). The underlying technology is proven and we need to ensure that citizens’ needs and regulatory obligations will continue to be met. The time for NG112 deployment is now.“
What’s in store?
From a comprehensive presentation of what NG112 is and how it works to real cases of the implementation of Next Generation communications around the globe, our 3-half-day event will bring you all the keys to embrace innovation and transformational change in today’s emergency response. The participants will also be able to engage with international experts in the field using polls and by asking questions during a Q&A session following every presentation.
Who is this event for?
The event is free of charge and open to all, including public authorities, telecommunication regulators, emergency services PSAPs, fixed and mobile network operators, solution providers and also EU officials & stakeholders.
